Panettone French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 sliced of panettone
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tsp butter
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

Method:

  1. Slice the panettone into bread shaped pieces
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk and vanilla essence
  3. Dip the panettone into the egg wash and coat on both sides
  4. Add butter to a pan on medium heat and cook the panettone on each side for approx 2-3 minutes or until lightly golden.
  5. Serve up the panettone french toast with raspberries, blueberries, icing sugar and maple syrup
